About Dr. David J. Friedman, M.D., F.A.C.S
Dr. David J. Friedman, M.D, F.A.C.S. is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and native "New Yorker" practicing in the Lenox Hill neighborhood of Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Dr. Friedman earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984, and in he graduated from the Albany Medical College in 1988. In 1993. he completed a full General Surgery Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center. He then completed a full residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Friedman began practicing Plastic Surgery in 1996 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and has established one of the top plastic surgery practices in New York by focusing on a wide-range of treatments.
Known for his top-rated plastic surgery results, welcoming practice and staff, and comforting approach to cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, Dr. Friedman has been consistently recognized as a Castle Connoly Top Doctor, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His patients often refer to him as one of the "best plastic surgeons" in New York.
In addition to running his highly sought after Plastic Surgery Practice, Dr. Friedman enjoys helping those in need, and is proud of his time in the Philippines where he helped treat those with Cleft Lips and Cleft Palates. He was the recipient of the Golden Heart Award from the Catholic Medical Mission of America.
